FontPop ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the FontPop iOS app and keyboard extension.
We never access, collect, store, or transmit anything you type.
All font transformations and text processing happen entirely on your device. We do not have access to:
iOS requires keyboard extensions to request "Full Access" for certain features. FontPop uses Full Access solely to share your theme and preference settings between the main app and the keyboard extension via App Groups. Even with Full Access enabled, FontPop does not transmit your keystrokes or personal data off your device.
FontPop uses the following third-party services provided by Google and Apple. These services may collect limited, anonymous technical data to help us maintain app stability and understand general usage patterns:
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app stability. This service collects device state information, unique device identifiers, device hardware and OS information, and crash stack traces. This data is used solely to identify and resolve crashes and does not include anything you type or any personal information.
We use Google Analytics to understand general usage patterns. This service collects anonymous interaction data such as session frequency and feature usage. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.
If you have opted in to share analytics with app developers through your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous usage data such as session counts and device types. This data cannot be used to identify individual users. You can opt out at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
FontPop stores your preferences (selected theme, haptic settings, font choices) locally on your device using App Groups shared storage. This data never leaves your device and is used solely to keep your settings synchronized between the main app and the keyboard extension.
FontPop does not display ads and does not integrate with any advertising networks or tracking services.
We take your privacy seriously. Since FontPop processes all text locally and does not collect personal data, your typing remains private. For the limited technical data collected by Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics (crash reports, device information, and anonymous usage data), Google applies industry-standard security measures. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
FontPop does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The anonymous crash and device data collected by Firebase does not contain personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
FontPop may contain links to external websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external services you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of FontPop after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
